Our daughters, Madi and Olivia, were the inspiration for the farm name and help with many chores around the farm. At an early age they would spend hours building habitats in plastic containers for the worms, caterpillars and other insects they collected. Given their interest in bugs the obvious farm chore for them is insect scouting which is an important component to IPM. Armed with laminated sheets containing pictures of the insect pests the girls help inspect the crops.
